CARCASS HANGER
Product description
The carcass re-hanger is used to automatically trim the feet and re-hang the carcass from the slaughter line to the evisceration line. The weight range of the chickens is 800 g to 2,500 g, bearing in mind that the weight of a batch of chickens should be comparable in order for the hanging unit to work properly.
OPERATION
The shaft of the slaughter line and the shaft of the evisceration line have a gearbox with a speed generator, which are connected to the electronic control system of the machine in order to synchronise the speed of both lines. The overfeeder is directly connected and driven by both the slaughter line and the evisceration line, whose speeds are synchronised by the electronic control system. Chickens are fed into the overhanger via the slaughter line, then the cutter automatically cuts off the feet, thus releasing them from the slaughter line. Using a central shaft, they are then guided to the evisceration line.
