Product description

The linear beam plucker is used to remove feathers from the carcass of a hen turkey or a tom turkey.

OPERATION

Basic elements of the plucking machine’s construction are: a frame with posts (4 pcs.), 3 beams on both sides – symmetrically suspended on 2 posts. Two opposite upper beams are equipped with flat heads on which rubber fingers are mounted. The remaining beams are fitted with spatial heads. Horizontal adjustment of the beams is carried out using a system of levers and a worm gear driven electrically or manually. Vertical adjustment of column-mounted beams is carried out by means of worm gears and a vertical toothed bar mounted on the poles (there are 3 gears on one bar). The poultry, suspended on stirrups, is fed in between the rotating plucking discs by a chain conveyor. Both the angle of the beams and the distance of the rubber fingers from the plucked poultry are adjustable.
