BEAM PLUCKER FOR WATER POULTRY AND TURKEY
Product description
The linear beam plucker type SLB-P is used for feather plucking of waterfowl carcasses as well as for turkey plucking during the slaughter process.
OPERATION
Basic elements of the plucking machine’s construction are: a frame with posts (4 pcs.), 3 beams on both sides – symmetrically suspended on 2 posts. Two opposite upper beams are equipped with flat heads on which rubber fingers are mounted. The remaining beams are fitted with three-dimensional heads. Horizontal adjustment of the beams is carried out using a system of levers and a worm gear driven electrically or manually. Vertical adjustment of pole-mounted beams is carried out by means of worm gears and a vertical toothed bar mounted on the poles (there are 3 gears on one bar). The poultry, suspended on stirrups, are fed between rotating plucking discs by a chain conveyor. Both the angle of the beams and the distance of the rubber fingers from the plucked poultry are adjustable.
