Product description

The suspended foot trimmer is used to trim the feet of hens and chickens in the poultry slaughter line.

OPERATION

The fixed frame of the cutter is attached to the supporting structure of the chain conveyor – on a 180 or 90° arc. The cutter’s drive disc is mounted coaxially with the return wheel of the arch. In special cases, the cutter can also be mounted on a straight section of the conveyor. The carcasses are transported on overhead conveyor stirrups. They are positioned and stabilised by the gripper disc before being cut off. The sliding beam, including the drive mounted on a fixed frame, has the possibility to adjust the angular position of the knife and the height of the cutting height of the feet – depending on the size of the poultry to be slaughtered.
