Product description

The lung extractor is used to remove lungs and blood clots from inside the poultry carcass.

The lung extractor vacuum system consists of:

  1. vacuum pump
  2. stainless steel tanks (working tank – for the lungs, compensating tank – for the vacuum).
  3. a lung extractor gun, adapted to the chicken or turkey.
  4. a piping system.

It is possible to connect and operate several guns to the system simultaneously.
Optionally, a cyclone can be used instead of the stainless steel (working) tank, which empties automatically.

OPERATION

The extractor is activated by switching on the vacuum pump. Once a suitable vacuum has been achieved, the guns can be started. The stainless steel tip of the gun is inserted into the carcass, the trigger is pressed and the lungs, clots, blood, water and other evisceration residues are then drawn in. The waste drawn in by the guns accumulates in a working tank from which it must be removed periodically. The removal of waste from the working tank is carried out manually via a drain valve located at the bottom of the tank. Depending on the needs and wishes of the
of the customer, the correct number of guns and the correct size of pump are fitted to the extractor, thereby achieving the required capacity of the unit. At high capacities, larger tanks than the standard ones shown in the drawing must be made.
