POWERED HEAD SNAPPER
Product description
The head snapper is used to pluck the heads of hens and chickens after the neck has first been cut. It is adapted for continuous operation in typical poultry slaughter lines (usually installed after the plucking operation).
OPERATION
The device has its own drive consisting of a motoreducer which is selected appropriately to the line’s efficiency and the Investor’s needs. The design of the device allows for angle adjustment of the plucking guides and also height adjustment with a screw jack, which makes it possible to adjust the plucker to the size of the poultry being plucked. A plate conveyor fitted to the stripper with special scrapers ensures that the heads are quickly conveyed to the point of transfer (containers, pneumatic transport hoppers, etc.). Speed control with adjustment to slaughter capacity by means of a control box with frequency converter.
